USAR robot with manipulation arm

The subject of the public contract concerns the delivery of a mobile robot with manipulation arm. The robot is to be mid-sized with high terrain clearance and able to climb staircases up and down. An open interface is required as the robot will serve for research in the area of autonomous robotics and manipulation. The robot must be able to operate in rough environments and weather conditions targeting Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) applications. Manipulation arm as well as a computer which allows running user code must be both integrated on the robot. The manipulation arm capabilities include, among other, ability to open doors using handle. The USAR robot with manipulation arm shall comply with the minimum technical requirements set out in Annex 3 to these PD.
